NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police Narcotics Division made three arrests Tuesday in an ongoing effort to keep city neighborhoods safe.

As part of an investigation into illegal distribution of narcotics out of 4 Washington Street, Apt. 3, a search warrant was executed at that address at about 10:49 a.m. Police found 31 pills, packaging materials and a digital scale.

Keither Parson, 45, of 4 Washington St., Apt. 3, was arrested on two counts of possession of class E substance (pills) with intent to distribute, possession of class E substance (pills) and a warrant arrest.

Police also executed a search warrant Tuesday following an investigation into illegal distribution of narcotics out of 115H Sycamore Street, Apt. 3. Police entered the apartment at about 2:45 p.m. and found a Suboxone strip, a digital scale and packaging materials at the address.

Edmilson Gomes, 21, of 58 Bedford Street, Apt. 1, New Bedford, was arrested on charges of possession of class B substance (Suboxone strip).

Felicia M. Cruz, 22, of 115H Sycamore Street, Apt. 3, New Bedford, was arrested on charges of possession of class B substance (cocaine) after she was found in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine.
