It was late inning heroics for D.H. David Ortiz as he hit a game tying grand slam in the eighth as the Red Sox overcame a five-run deficit to beat the Tigers 6-5.  Jarrod Saltalamacchia won it with an RBI single in the ninth.  Clay Buchholz was tagged for five runs in less than six innings in the start, Koji Uehara pitched a scoreless top of the ninth for the victory.  The Red Sox tied the series at one game each as the action shifts to Detroit for game three, Tuesday.  John Lackey will get the start for Boston and Detroit will go with Justin Verlander.
