Ladies and Gentlemen; boys and girls- the circus is in town!  The Zerbini Family Circus is getting ready for their big top performance at Buttonwood Park as part of the annual New Bedford Police Union Festival. After hundreds of volunteer hours by the NBPD Union, all of the plans have finally come together for a weekend carnival, craft fair and one of the oldest American traditions- the circus!

The circus doesn't come to town to often so we took a trip down there to get a sneak peak at what folks can expect to see from the Zerbini Family this weekend and learn all about some of their featured performers- the animals!

Big thanks to the Zerbini Family for taking the time to answer important questions and show us a few tricks!  A portion of the NBPD Festival's proceeds will benefit the NBPD Scholarship Fund for local college-bound high-school seniors.

The Circus show times are Friday at 7:00, Saturday at 3:00p & 7:00p and Sunday at 1:00 & 5:00p.  Tickets are $8 for an adult and $6 for kids ages 2-12.
