Teen Suspect, David Lima, Held Without Bail in New Bedford Murder
NEW BEDFORD - A 16-year-old New Bedford boy has been ordered held without bail in Wednesday's deadly shooting.
The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says 16-year-old David Lima of Matthew Street was ordered held until his pre-trial hearing on April 14.
Lima is charged with murder, carrying an illegal firearm, and carrying a loaded illegal firearm.
Prosecutors say Lima shot and killed 20-year-old Jonas Trinidad, Jr. of New Bedford late Wednesday morning during a fight outside of Lima's home.
He was arrested without incident Thursday afternoon in a Cross Street home in Fall River.
