Taunton Man Arrested for Murder of Homeless New Bedford Man

NEW BEDFORD - An arrest has been made in the murder of a homeless man in New Bedford.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says 37-year-old Jorge Arce of Taunton was arrested Wednesday night by a Massachusetts State Trooper on Route 24 in Bridgewater.

Arce will be arraigned on a charge of murder in New Bedford District Court this morning.

Arce is accused of fatally stabbing 22-year-old Emmanuel Fuentes Sunday night on Ashley Boulevard.
