There is a movement in the town of Dartmouth to increase the salaries of its public teachers. A significant increase will require raising taxes.

Massachusetts has a limit on how much property taxes can be raised each year. It was passed by the citizens and it can be changed only by the citizens.

Funny how folks belly-ache over high property taxes, yet cherish their pet projects.
