There will be no school in New Bedford on Tuesday and trash collection will be suspended as well due to the storm.

The Blizzard of 2013 has proven to be a  bit of a problem when it comes to cleanup. While City crews are working to get the snow and ice cleaned up, the Citywide parking ban is still in effect.

Parking bans in New Bedford, Dartmouth and Wareham go into effect at 12pm Friday. With New Bedford's ban, there is no parking on either side of the street in business districts. In residential areas, parking is allowed on the side of the street opposite fire hydrants...

The City if New Bedford has announced that the parking ban that was in place as of Monday night, has now been lifted.
