New Bedford officials will be giving out free rapid COVID tests to city residents this week to tackle rising coronavirus case numbers.

A meet-and-greet with 'Blades,' the Boston Bruins mascot, is happening Wednesday at the New Bedford Library to celebrate summer reading.

The Bookmobile is still in operation in New Bedford, providing much the same opportunities to youngsters as it did years ago.

He also made a donation with the apology.
