A former member of the New Bedford Latin Kings pleaded guilty to racketeering charges in federal court Wednesday, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

New Bedford Latin King regional officer Michael Cotto, known as "King Gordo," was sentenced after pleading guilty to racketeering charges in January.

Jorge 'King G' Rodriguez was second in command of Massachusetts Latin Kings Leadership, prosecutors said.
