New Bedford Police Chief Paul Oliveira ordered the closure of the Morna Lounge and Grill days after a man was shot and killed and two others were injured.

New Bedford's licensing board will loosen some rules imposed on a city lounge after a series of violations that culminated in a stabbing there late last month.
