Joe Biden is being slowly murdered as a political candidate and it is wrong. Biden is an experienced political leader and what is happening to him is a crime.

I won't bother to repeat the ridiculous charges being leveled at Joe Biden because they don't deserve it. I will simply say he appears to be a man who tries to make a personal connection with the people he meets, and some of them are women.

He hasn't done anything wrong when he has greeted people in public, in full view of the cameras. Nothing. Not a single thing.

I disagree with Joe Biden on lots of policy issues.

But this isn't about policy, this is about the destruction of a human being and their reputation. Joe Biden served for decades in the U.S. Senate. He has been at the center of the serious issues facing our country. He served for eight years as the vice president. Biden has important institutional knowledge and experience.

This campaign to destroy Joe Biden as a candidate in the Democratic primaries is insidious. Nobody is claiming he actually did anything wrong. Rather, they are using the charges to humiliate and embarrass him. The goal of his political rivals is to make him a laughing stock. They want to show him as an old white guy who is too out of touch to lead the Democratic Party.

Few can take on the former vice president and Senate committee chairman if the contest is based on experience. His potential future primary opponents are hoping they will never have to face him on the campaign trail in the union halls and the VFWs of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Debate Joe Biden on policy and vision. Examine his record as a senator and as the vice president. If he has done something in his personal life that is wrong and disqualifying, the people should know about it and his opponents should make that case.

But what is going on now is a disgrace. Joe Biden deserves better because America deserves better. Voters, particularly Democrats, should pay attention to who stands up for Joe Biden at this moment.
