‘Sopranos’ Star Steve Schirripa Is Now Officially a Rhode Island Resident

Several stars of The Sopranos have made their love for Westerly, Rhode Island and its Italian food known for years.

Actors Stephen Schirripa and Michael Imperioli have shared several rave reviews of Westerly restaurants, and now one of them has decided to become an official resident of the town.

Though last year Schirripa was telling news outlets that he wanted to live in Westerly's Watch Hill neighborhood, but "hadn't done that well," new interviews show he must be doing at least okay.

Like Taylor Swift and Conan O'Brien before him, actor Stephen Schirripa has officially purchased a home in Rhode Island's most star-studded town.

Schirripa told The Westerly Sun that he and his wife Laura Lemos had recently purchased a house in Westerly for his entire family.

He's made his love for the beach town (and its apparently amazing restaurants) a family affair with a house he plans to open up to his daughters, their husbands and his grandkids.

Unlike some of the other famous folks who own homes in Rhode Island, Schirripa even went as far as to get his Rhode Island driver's license, definitely making his move to the Ocean State official.

So don't be surprised if the next time you spend any time in Westerly, you find a famous face hanging out there, too.
