Stabbing Suspect Sought in Fall River
FALL RIVER — Fall River Police have one man in custody and are seeking another, after a triple stabbing in that city on Independence Day.
On Wednesday, July 4 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers of the Fall River Police Departments responded to 333 Mariano Bishop Boulevard in response to a 911 callers complaint of three people stabbed. Upon their arrival, Officers Aaron Souza and Derrick Silva reported they located a large crowd of people and three male victims, ages 49, 19 and 14.
Witnesses and victims stated that there was a small fight earlier. One of the involved males identified as Nathan Six, age 20, stated he was going to return with his friend and stab everyone. Approximately 10 minutes later, Six returned with his friend. The friend exited Six's vehicle, approached a male, and began to fight.
As the fight went on, the friend ran back to Six’s car, retrieved a knife and ran toward the group. He stabbed the three victims while throwing punches. The male fled the area on foot, followed by Six in his vehicle. Six stopped to pick up the male and then fled the area.
Two victims were transported to Rhode Island-area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, and the third was treated locally.
Six came into the FRPD headquarters in the early morning hours of July 5 and was taken into custody on three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and assault and battery.
The friend was subsequently identified as 29-year-old Devin Taylor. Taylor is wanted on three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) for his involvement with this incident.
This incident is still under investigation by Fall River Police. Anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of Devin Taylor is asked to call (508) 676-8511 or the anonymous tips line at (508) 672-TIPS (8477).
