Stabbing Reported in New Bedford

A suspect is in custody following a stabbing incident Monday in New Bedford.

According to New Bedford Police, a man was stabbed at 170 Chancery Street just after 1:30 in the afternoon. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested 26-year-old Loran Raul Alamo of that address on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and aggravated assault.
