A New Bedford woman and a technician at St. Luke's Hospital is dead following a motorcycle accident in Plymouth.

Massachusetts State Police tell WBSM News the accident took place at Bear Hill and West Line Roads in the Myles Standish State Forest in Plymouth around 1:30pm Sunday.

The accident is still under investigation, but police say 52-year-old Janine Arsenault of New Bedford died from her injuries after being transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Arsenault was a passenger on the motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified only as a male, was also transported to Beth Israel with unknown injuries.

It does not appear as if there were any other vehicles involved in the accident.

Arsenault, according to sources, was an Emergency Room Technician at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Sunday was her 52nd birthday.
