The Southeastern Regional Transit Authority resumed operations on Thursday with service on most New Bedford routes.

For those routes that are in service, S.R.T.A. General Manager Marty Burke says drivers are facing additional challenges as blizzard cleanup continues.

Burke says these challenges have doubled the average travel time for most routes and he is asking commuters to plan accordingly.

Route 8 Mount Pleasant, Route 6 Shawmut, and Route 5 Rivet Street are not currently operating and there are some minor detours on other routes.
