SouthCoast Jersey Mike’s Donating 100 Percent of Sales to Doug Flutie Jr Foundation
When a restaurant decides to participate in a fundraiser for a worthy charity, it’s always a great thing. Often, restaurants agree to donate 10, 15 or even 20 percent of their sales from that day, and those donations are vital to the charities they support.
What Jersey Mike's is doing today, however, is on a whole new level.
Today, March 26, 2025, is the company's "Day of Giving." Every penny that comes into every single Jersey Mike's location worldwide will be donated to charity.
What’s even cooler is that instead of selecting one national charity, Jersey Mike's allows each region to choose the charity that makes the most sense for their community.

Here on the SouthCoast, the Jersey Mike's franchisees have chosen the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation, which benefits families of children with autism. The Heisman Trophy winner’s son has autism, so his family is intimately familiar with the challenges that come with the diagnosis.
That means every dollar today at the Jersey Mike's in New Bedford, North Dartmouth, Fairhaven and Middletown, Rhode Island will go to the Flutie Foundation.
Flutie was so grateful for Jersey Mike’s choosing his foundation last year that he made it a point to visit as many of the restaurants as possible during the Day of Giving. In fact, he even stopped by the Fairhaven location to say hello to the staff and customers.

There's no official word on whether Flutie plans to do something similar today, but if you're a football fan, you might want to make it a point to visit a local Jersey Mike’s, just in case.
Since its inception in 2011, the Jersey Mike's Day of Giving program has raised over $113 million for hundreds of local charities.
