Dartmouth, New Bedford Free Burritos This Cinco de Mayo

Can you believe it’s already May?

Time’s flying, but there’s no better way to kick off the month, and celebrate Cinco de Mayo, than with a warm, fully loaded burrito. Especially when it’s free.

Caliente Mexican Grill, a growing family-run chain with roots in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is once again turning up the heat with its annual Cinco de Mayo giveaway. On Sunday, May 5th, all Caliente locations will hand out free burritos between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, no strings attached.

With Massachusetts spots in Malden, Dartmouth, and an anticipated location coming soon to New Bedford, and five locations throughout Rhode Island: Providence (Thayer Street and Chalkstone Ave), West Warwick, Newport, and Kingston, Caliente is quickly becoming a regional go-to for what they boldly call “dope burritos.”

And yes, it’s a family affair. Every Caliente is operated by a tight-knit team of cousins and siblings who say they genuinely enjoy working together, even when things "heat up" int he kitchen.

In a recent Facebook post, Caliente shared the good news:

"Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us at Caliente. Free burritos for everyone from 2 to 3 pm across all our locations. Come get yours and see why we are the home of the dope burritos."

Whether you’re a loyal regular or a curious newcomer, the lines are expected to be long, but the worth the wait. Consider it a delicious way to celebrate the culture, support local, and score a tasty win for your taste buds.
