Shots Fired, No Suspects in New Bedford Shooting

New Bedford Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the city.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente says witnesses reported hearing four or five gunshots in the area of Division and Crapo Streets in the South End around 12:30 Monday morning.

Witnesses did not report seeing a gunman or any fleeing vehicles. One home near the intersection was struck by gunfire, but there were no reported injuries.
