Shell Casings Found After Shots-Fired Report in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating a possible shooting in New Bedford's South End.

According to the Standard-Times, police responded to the area of Dartmouth Street between Rockland and Hickory Streets at about 1 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a shots-fired incident.

Shell casings were found at the scene. No injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
