Section of 195 Closed After Tractor-Trailer Mishap

A section of Interstate 195 eastbound in the Fairhaven-Mattapoisett area was closed to traffic early Saturday morning, when a tractor trailer jack-knifed just before five am.

State Police are blaming icy roads for the mishap. No injuries were reported.

The road was closed to traffic for about two hours, while equipment was brought in to remove the tractor-trailer.

Fairhaven Police helped divert eastbound traffic to Route Sx. The highway was cleared before 8am.
