FALL RIVER — Fall River Police Department detectives used two  warrants early Wednesday morning to search apartments at 901-903 Rodman Street.

The targets of the warrants were Jeffron S. Obannon, 33, of Fall River, and Shavez Brandon, 26, of Fall River. Several detectives and a K-9 partner entered the first floor apartment on a no-knock warrant. The K-9 alerted the officers of the presence of narcotics.

Found in the apartment were 16 suspected Oxycodone pills, 9 suspected Suboxone, and 59 suspected trazodone pills along with a large amount of cash. Obannon was then arrested on charges of possession to distribute a Class B substance and possession of a Class E substance.

At the same time, a separate search was going on with a warrant in a second floor apartment. Police found 10 suspected Methadone pills and some cash. Brandon was then taken into custody on charges of possession to distribute a Class B substance.
