Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of New Bedford Man

NEW BEDFORD — Members of the New Bedford Police Department narcotics unit executed a search warrant for an Oesting Street apartment as part of an investigation into a Fentanyl distribution service out of that address.

Police found Fentanyl, packaging materials and more than $170 in cash at the location.

Roberto Lugo-Gallardo, 38, of 39 Oesting St., Apt. B, New Bedford, on charges of possession of Fentanyl with intent to distribute.

The arrest was made at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday.
