School Choice Empowers Local Parents

Every January, National School Choice Week provides an opportunity to shine a positive spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children. To some, school choice is a boogey man to public schools and their funding. But, for like minded people, school choice provides diverse and growing educational opportunities that empower parents to choose the best educational environments for their children. As such, there will be a School Choice Fair for families of Greater New Bedford Saturday, January 25 between 1 and 3 pm at the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center, 181 Hillman St. Parents will learn what K - 12 schools in this area have to offer. More than 10 schools will participate and tell you about their Academics, Admissions Process, Extracurricular Activities, Class Size and School Culture.
