With baseball season in full swing, parents, players and spectators gather every weekend to cheer on their teams in towns throughout Massachusetts.

In Rochester, it's no different. Gifford Park has been home to generations of ball players. In addition to its fields, the park also boasts a playground, a spot where many a baseball player and/or sibling of one spend time playing before, during or after games.

New Playground Opens in Rochester

Now, new life has been brought to Gifford Park in the form of a brand-new, bright, colorful and super fun playground.

Tri-Town Gathers for Ribbon Cutting

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025 community members gathered for a ribbon cutting on the new play space.

The event included games, activities, pizza, cookies, ice cream and refreshments.

TTFPC posted its gratitude on its Facebook page.
