Robber Threatens to Stab Clerk at New Bedford Gas Station

New Bedford Police are searching for a man they say robbed a gas station Monday night.

The 23-year-old female clerk at Joe's Gas Station on Nash Road told police the man entered the store around 6:30 Monday evening armed with a knife. He told her to open the register or he would stab her. The clerk did as she was told and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male dressed in all black with a baseball cap that had a red and yellow visor.
