Rhode Island Man Charged With Sex Trafficking

A Pawtucket man is facing charges accusing him of sex trafficking a 17-year-old Massachusetts girl.

Federal prosecutors say 33-year-old Kemont Bowie and two others forced the girl into prostitution after she left a treatment center.

The girl had been reported missing, and was located at Bowie's Pawtucket apartment this week.

Bowie appeared in Providence federal court Tuesday and was ordered held without bail.
