Rhode Island Jewish Deli Expanding to Tidewater Landing
Fans of corned beef and pastrami sandwiches will love this news: Rhode Island's "first scratch kitchen Jewish deli" is opening a second location. This time, Maven's is heading to the new Tidewater Landing Stadium in Pawtucket.
Picture yourself enjoying a Rhode Island FC soccer game or a concert this summer at Tidewater Landing. You get a little hungry, but you’re not in the mood for regular ballpark fare.
You’re in luck because the stadium has decided to embrace one of the biggest strengths of the littlest state: its incredible food scene. And they’re keeping it local.

Pawtucket's Maven’s Delicatessen will bring a Little Mavens kiosk to Tidewater Landing Stadium.
Both the brand-new stadium and the kiosk are expected to open during the first weekend in May. The Little Mavens kiosk will be open during all events, serving Maven’s signature pastrami, corned beef, and other sandwiches.
“We’re thrilled to bring Maven’s Delicatessen to Tidewater Landing and serve our food to fans in such a vibrant, community-focused stadium,” said Jason Sugarman, owner of Maven’s Delicatessen.
“This is a great opportunity to be part of a project that celebrates both local culture and sports," he said.
The original Maven's has been hugely popular since it first opened a couple of years ago. It gives the vibes of old-school New York City.
Tidewater Landing Stadium, set to be the first 100 percent electric, soccer-specific stadium in America, aims to be a hub for sports and entertainment in Rhode Island, bringing fans together for unforgettable experiences in a sustainable setting.

The original Maven’s Delicatessen is located on the Providence/Pawtucket line at Blackstone Plaza. It is a modern-day Jewish deli that honors classic delicatessens with traditional Jewish dishes.
