Reported Stabbing In New Bedford On Belleville Road

NEW BEDFORD — An incident involving multiple police units in response to a reported stabbing on Belleville Road in New Bedford is currently developing. .

Reports of a stabbing at 88 Belleville Road came across police scanners at around 8 p.m. Thursday night. New Bedford Police blocked off entrances to Belleville Road and Eugenia Street with cruisers and taped off the surrounding the area.

An officer at the scene confirmed that the police response to Belleville Road was connected to the reports of the stabbing, but could not provide any further comment.
