Red Sox staff members went to bat today for needy families in New Bedford, volunteering at the American Red Cross Food Pantry on Kempton Street.

It's part of the "100 Acts of Kindness" program, with Red Sox staff members volunteering throughout New England during Fenway Park's 100th anniversary season.

Stephanie Maneikis, Senior Manager of Fan Services and Entertainment with the Red Sox tells WBSM News her experience through the program has been very fulfilling.
