Plycem is recalling approximately 37,500 deck boards because the materials can crack.

According to WPRI 12, Plycem received three separate injury reports involving the recalled decking. One report involved a leg injury with a man whose leg went through a cracked board.

The recall covers Allura fiber cement decking and fascia. They were sold at The Home Depot.

The cement decking comes in two different styles. The first is a direct screw application and the second is a hidden fastener application. They were both sold in 12-foot lengths and are 6-inches wide and one-inch thick.

"The fiber cement fascia is sold in 12-foot lengths and is 8-to 12-inches wide and 7/16 inches thick. Both the decking and fascia are sold in a natural wood color and have a wood grain texture."

Consumers who bought the recalled decking boards are advised to stop using the materials and should contact Plycem to schedule a free repair.

Plycem can be reached online or at 844-452-6787 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
