It's Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.

There is nothing like the unconditional love that an animal brings to a home, and when it comes to bringing an animal in, families have plenty of choices to start.

Here's a friendly reminder that SouthCoast animal shelters are filled with hundreds of adoptable animals that would love to bring happiness to a home. On Wet Nose Wednesday, we shine a spotlight on one of these animals in hopes of finding the perfect forever home.

This week, we head to Fall River to meet a puppy that has traveled a long way to get to the SouthCoast.

Say Hello to Vinny, a 14-week-old mixed breed pup that came all the way from Puerto Rico and resides at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

"He is an absolute love," the shelter said.

Vinny is still a baby, so his new family will have to be equipped to train him and be prepared for all things puppy.

Needless to say, Vinny's forever family will need lots of energy.

Vinny would do best in a home with a family that has the time to spend with him and has kids over the age of 5. He does well with other animals and will be the perfect companion for long walks, lawn games and cuddles.

Does Vinny sound like a good fit for you? Contact Forever Paws, fill out an application and schedule a play date today.

Vinny cannot wait to meet you.
