They don't call Providence, Rhode Island the Creative Capital for nothing. This season, artists will gather in the city for a fun and festive show.

The 5th Annual BuyArt Small Works Holiday Show and Sale is a great way to experience art and find unique gifts for your loved ones.

From Thursday, November 13, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026, visitors are welcome to peruse the gallery inside the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence.

Local Art on Display

"This year, we are exhibiting the works of five past WaterFire interns, five WaterFire volunteers, four Accelerate artists, and 10 artists who have been previously featured in exhibitions at the WaterFire Arts Center," said Caitlin McDonough, Coordinator of the 2025 BuyArt Show.

"This show is a great opportunity to not only purchase a piece of artwork for the holidays, but also to support local emerging artists within our community in Providence," McDonough said.

Gallery Hours

Interested in visiting the gallery throughout the season? Guests are welcome to get inspiration and purchase items during hours of operation.

  • Wednesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The WaterFire Arts Center store and gallery will be closed between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

In addition to the gallery hours, interested shoppers are encouraged to follow WaterFire Arts Center on Instagram for special pop-up shopping events.
