Project Independence Adult Day Care [Townsquare Sunday]

Project Independence Adult Day Care on Elm Street in New Bedford first opened its doors to the elderly and disabled community in 1982. Since that time, the program has served more than 400 adults, improving their physical and mental health, and in many cases, allowing individuals to remain in their homes and communities.

Executive Director Karen Maciulewicz stops by Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss the work of Project Independence, and why it's important to support the elderly and their families.
