New Bedford Police Seek Stabbing Suspect from Viral Video
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford police are currently seeking a North End resident in connection to a video of a stabbing that is being circulated on social media.
Police said they are looking for Kassandra Martinez-Fernandez, 27, of Harwich Street in relation to a June 9 stabbing incident.
A video showing a fight in which one woman appears to stab another is circulating widely on New Bedford social media groups.
In the video, a woman can be seen arguing with two others.
A scuffle ensues in which one woman appears to stab another in the back and side multiple times.
It is unclear who shot the video, or exactly where the altercation was filmed.
Police said that others involved in the incident have been identified and that the investigation is active and ongoing.
