Police Arrest Suspect In Dunkin Donuts Robbery
New Bedford Police have arrested one man in connection with a Monday morning robbery.
Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that around 5:30 a.m. a man walked into the Dunkin Donuts at 231 Union St. with his hand in his pocket indicating he had a gun.
The man demanded money from the register then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Vicente says officers were able to identify the suspect as 35-year-old David Brown of New Bedford and went to his home where he was taken into custody.
Brown was scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon in New Bedford District Court on armed robbery charges.
