If you're a dog owner who is sick and tired of cleaning up after your pet, then I might have a solution for you.

I recently came across a dog waste management company out of Acushnet called No Sh!t  (yes, you read that correctly) that is taking the stress away from picking up your dog's "business."

Owners Linda and Jayme Duff started the business two years ago and it's just starting to ramp up.

"Some businesses don't take off right out of the gate, but we're getting there," Jayme said.

The power couple invested in dog waste removal for residential and commercial sites and offer bi-weekly or one-time cleanings. If you're a pet owner who doesn't mind picking up after the dog but have nowhere to dispose of the stuff, there's also a bucket service, meaning the Duffs will schedule a time to drop by your house and take away the mess.

"At the moment we are servicing Acushnet, Rochester, New Bedford, Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Marion and Dartmouth," Linda said. "If we expand some more, we'll be happy to push out a little farther, but this is our demographic area for now."

The hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Duffs are animal people: They have horses, chickens and dogs, so there's passion behind the business. The Duffs' dogs sparked the idea of creating a convenient service that disposes of dog feces so pet owners don't have to.

"The best part of the job is being able to work outdoors," Jayme said. "I've discovered in life that I'm not an office type of person, and I'd rather be outside working in the sun. When we're done with our services, we leave a little 'doggy bag' with treats and a 'thank you' to the customer. Most of the time they're not home, so it lets them know we were there and we appreciate them for the business."

Unfortunately, the only downside to the business is the name itself.

Facebook and social media platforms are giving the Duffs a tough time with the name, so a new one just might be in the works despite its catchiness.
