Associated Press - Oxfam America says it is working with its international affiliate to help victims of the Nepal earthquake and is accepting donations for relief efforts.

The Boston-based group says Oxfam International is working in four open-air sites in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley to deliver clean water and build toilets, and will be working with other agencies in the coming days to provide clean water at 16 sites set up by Nepal's government. It also is working to help provide food and shelter.

Oxfam America said Monday more than 5 tons of water and sanitation materials have been dispatched from Oxfam International's warehouse in Barcelona, Spain, and a response team has been mobilized in India to assess needs in the hard-hit Nepal district of Gorkha.
