NEW BEDFORD — The Bristol County District Attorney's Office reports what they say appears to be a fatal overdose in New bedford.

The D.A.'s office says a 41-year-old man was found dead at around 9:45 Wednesday morning by his sister at her residence on Maxfield Street. They report the man had been staying at her apartment for a few days, but was recently living in Fairhaven.

The office of the District Attorney suspects that the death was caused by a cocktail of different drugs including Klonopin and heroin.  A toxicology test is pending to determine the exact cause of death.
