Over the past few years, prescription drug overdoses have taken a deadly toll on the Southcoast. August 31 is International Opioid Awareness Day. Reverend David Lima, Executive Minister of the Inter-Church Council and Connie Rocha-Mimoso of Seven Hills Behavioral Services talk about the work being done in New Bedford to stop overdose deaths, and what we all can do to help.
