Over 100 Companies Seeking Employees at Southcoast Jobs Fair Wednesday

It's being touted as one of the largest job fairs to come to the area.

The New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with UMass Dartmouth and BCC, is hosting the Southcoast Jobs Fair Wednesday at the Tripp Athletic Center on the UMass Dartmouth campus.

Chamber Workforce and Business Development Manager Ian Abreu says local, regional, and nationwide employers will be at the fair looking for their next employees. "I guarantee you, we will have something for you at this event no matter what your background is. I mean, when you have 117 different employers, you know, you're bound to have a pretty wide spectrum, I would assume."

Abreu advises those attending to dress well and bring ample copies of their resumes to pass out to employers.

The Southcoast Jobs Fair is free of charge and runs from 10am to 3pm.
