New Webpage Allows Residents To Report Neighborhood Code Violations

The City of New Bedford is using 21st century technology to assist the Mayor's Neighborhood Task Force. 

Two students from Greater New Bedford Voke Tech, Mathew Fleurent and Jonathon Nunes helped in the development of a webpage, where city residents can report and send pictures of rundown properties, overgrown lots, and other neighborhod eyesores.

Assistant City Solicitor John Flor says the webpage will be checked every day....

You can check on the page by logging on to the City of New Bedford's website, and clicking on "Hot Topics."

Mayor Mitchell is encouraging city residents to use the webpage to report code violations and nuisance properties, and send pictures of those violations to the task force.
