Despite the pandemic, public art is on display throughout the city of New Bedford. It can be seen in paintings, sculptures and wall murals on businesses.

The latest example, the New Bedford Seaport Art Walk, was unveiled by New Bedford Creative in a video presentation last week during AHA night.

Jessica Bregoli is the founder and curator of the Seaport Art Walk.

She spoke with Townsquare Sunday this week about this year's walk, the "Seagull Cinderella" controversy in years past, and the ongoing support for public art in New Bedford.

Townsquare Sunday is a weekly public affairs program heard every Sunday at 6 a.m. on 1420 WBSM. If you would like to appear on the program, please e-mail the host at jim.phillips@townsquaremedia.com.
