New Bedford Youth Baseball Coach Killed in New Hampshire Motorcycle Crash
FRANKLIN, N.H. - A New Bedford man is dead after a three-vehicle crash in New Hampshire.
Franklin Police say the crash took place Sunday morning on Route 3A involving a motorcycle, an SUV, and a car.
Preliminary investigation reveals the motorcycle, driven by 37-year-old David Insley III of New Bedford, hit the SUV head-on. Insley was transported to Franklin Regional Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Another driver suffered only minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
Insley was a coach for the Whaling City Youth Baseball League in New Bedford. In a statement on their Facebook page, the league says Insley "was respected by everyone and loved by the kids that he coached."
