New Bedford Women Found With Drugs After Traffic Stop
NEW BEDFORD — Two New Bedford women are arrested for drugs following a traffic stop.
Wednesday afternoon, New Bedford Police observed a vehicle in the area of 104 Phillips Avenue that was determined to be unregistered and uninsured. Upon further investigation, a small amount of crack cocaine was found in the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Lallian A. Rosario of New Bedford, was charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and possession of a Class B substance.
The passenger, 40-year-old Adriana Polanco of New Bedford, was charged with possession of a Class B substance as well as on a warrant.
The arrests were made at about 2:13 p.m.
