New Bedford Woman with Ten Warrants Arrested for Shoplifting

NEW BEDFORD — Police say they have arrested a New Bedford woman for shoplifting from a bakery on Monday and then trying to sell the stolen goods.

Police responded after a reported shoplifting incident at Goulart Square Bakery at 413 Rivet Street at 12:31 p.m. on Monday. Police say Brittney Cravo, 38, of 99 South Street, Apt. 1, New Bedford, stole several items and then tried to sell them at a nearby establishment.

Cravo was arrested and charged with shoplifting in addition to ten outstanding warrants for her arrest. Police did not disclose what the warrants were for.
