New Bedford Woman Killed in Oakham Crash Identified
OAKHAM, MA — The 21-year-old New Bedford woman who was killed in a car crash on Thanksgiving Day in Central Massachusetts has been identified.
Massachusetts State Police have identified the woman as Annabelle Rosemond, 21, of New Bedford.
Rosemond was a passenger in a 2014 Toyota Corolla when the driver lost control on Old Turnpike Road in Oakham on Thursday afternoon, crashing into a 2015 Honda CR-V that was traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 21-year-old Franklin man, and the driver and passenger of the Honda CR-V, a 51-year-old woman and an 89-year-old man, respectively, both of Ware, Massachusetts, were transported to UMass Worcester Medical Center with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police. Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in the collision.
