New Bedford Woman Arrested on Drug Charges in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE — Lakeville Police arrested a New Bedford woman on multiple drug charges following a motor vehicle stop Saturday night.

On November 24 at approximately 9:35 p.m., Officer Robert Schiffer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Highland Road. After a brief investigation, a search of the vehicle revealed 23 bags of cocaine, nine Oxycodone tablets, and $1,249 cash.

The operator of the vehicle, 27-year-old Jennifer Anacleto of New Bedford, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a Class B substance, and two counts of possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.

Anacleto will be arraigned Monday in Wareham District Court.
