New Bedford Uber Driver Arrested for OUI Drugs
NEW BEDFORD — A New Bedford woman who lists her occupation as "Uber driver" on social media is arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
New Bedford Police pulled over a driver at 1:10 a.m. Monday at Kempton Street and Rockdale Avenue for having defective equipment. In interacting with the driver and after further investigation, police determined she was under the influence of narcotics.
Police arrested 42-year-old Harnnah Caballero of 65 Merrimac Street, New Bedford, on charges of OUI drugs, operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment and operating a motor vehicle in violation of license restrictions.
Caballero's Facebook page lists her occupation as "Uber driver."
