New Bedford Stabbing Suspect Arrested

A New Bedford man is arrested in connection with the early Sunday morning stabbing of a 23 year man on Dartmouth St.  The State Police Violent Fugitve Apprehension Team and New Bedford Police arrested 26 year old Carlos Santos of Robeson Street Tuesday morning at 7 am in his third floor apartment. He was taken into custody without incident and will face attemtped mruder and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon charges in district court. He was currently on a suspended sentence from another stabbing that took place in December of 2010.
